Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic, Grand Rapids, Michigan

This pre-engineered metal building consists of 36,500 square feet. Since it’s completion in 1991, Brant has performed various enhancements and remodeling projects to facilitate the Veterans Administration.

This site is located in an area where soft, rolling hills are prominent. To capitalize on the natural beauty of the surrounding area, this structure was designed to blend and enhance the existing site elevations. Foundation walls were actually formed to be partially below ground, while the interior areas have full windows to allow full sunlight into the building.

A circular driveway at the main entrance allows safe patient “front door” service. Patients and visitors are greeted by a large open lobby with a near-by reception area for assistance.
